- 200g vegan dark chocolate (or oat milk chocolate)
- 50g vegan kataifi or toasted coconut flakes
- 100g pistachio butter
- 2 tbsp tahini
- Green food coloring (optional)
Instructions
- Melt the vegan dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl over a double boiler or in the microwave.
- Toast the vegan kataifi or coconut flakes in a pan until golden brown.
- Mix the pistachio butter and tahini together in a bowl until smooth.
- Pour a layer of melted chocolate into a mold or dish and let it cool slightly.
- Spread the pistachio-tahini mixture over the chocolate.
- Top with the toasted kataifi or coconut flakes.
- If desired, swirl in green food coloring for a pistachio swirl effect.
- Chill for 2 hours or until fully set.
Notes
Feel free to adjust the amount of tahini for a more or less pronounced nutty flavor. You can also substitute the vegan kataifi with another crunchy topping like crushed nuts.
